Business Media Central Asia Announces New Industry Exhibitions in Kazakhstan for 2026

In Astana, key international exhibitions were presented, defining the business landscape for 2026 and strengthening Kazakhstan’s role as a leading exhibition center in Central Asia.

Business Media Central Asia (BMCA) – the official representative of Messe Frankfurt in Kazakhstan – has already delivered more than 20 major international projects, bringing together over a thousand companies from Europe, Asia, and the CIS. Today, its exhibition platforms serve as important meeting points for professional communities, investors, and strategic partners.

“Kazakhstan is rapidly consolidating its status as one of the leading destinations for international exhibitions and business events. Our projects reflect the country’s industrial and technological potential, opening new opportunities for cooperation. We will continue to develop professional platforms in partnership with industry associations,” said Anuar Malik, Director of BMCA Kazakhstan.

New Projects for 2026

Comtrux Astana 2026

The new Comtrux Astana brand is a rebranding of Komtrans + BUSexpo Astana. The exhibition will take Kazakhstan’s and Central Asia’s commercial transport industry to the next level by expanding its international reach and attracting global partners.

The event will be held from May 5–7, 2026, alongside Eurasian Construction Technology Astana, enhancing the synergy between the transport and construction sectors on a single platform.

Kazakhstan’s automotive industry continues to demonstrate steady growth.

According to LLP ‘Agenstvo Monitoringa i Analyza Avtomobil'nogo Rynka’, over 205,000 new vehicles were sold in 2024 – a 3% increase compared to 2023. During the first eight months of 2025, 143,000 vehicles were sold, showing continued positive dynamics despite macroeconomic factors.

The manufacturing sector also remains stable: over 96,000 vehicles were produced during the same period, totaling 1.34 trillion KZT. The majority of production comes from the Allur and Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan plants, which together account for more than 90% of total output.

Automobile imports continue to grow, with China, the USA, and Japan holding leading positions. The share of Chinese brands has now exceeded one-third of all new car sales in the domestic market.

These figures confirm the strong potential of Kazakhstan’s automotive industry and lay a solid foundation for the development of the commercial vehicle sector – a role that Comtrux Astana is set to take on.

Automechanika Astana 2026

The largest exhibition in Kazakhstan and the Caspian region for automotive parts, components, and service equipment, Automechanika Astana will once again bring together leading manufacturers, distributors, and industry experts from June 10–12, 2026, showcasing the latest technologies and trends shaping the automotive aftermarket.

PROFOOD Astana 2026

The international exhibition of equipment, technologies, and ingredients for the bakery, confectionery, meat, dairy, and coffee industries will take place from September 9–11, 2026.

The project aims to fill the gap between large-scale food industry exhibitions and narrow specialized events. PROFOOD Astana will unite producers, processors, suppliers, and representatives of the HoReCa sector, serving as a driver for modernization, investment, and innovation in the food industry and related markets.

Intelligent Building Expo Astana 2026

The first exhibition in Kazakhstan to combine smart building solutions, engineering systems, and urban technologies will be held from September 9–11, 2026 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, with the support of Messe Frankfurt – the organizer of globally renowned events such as Light + Building, ISH, and Intersec.

The new format evolved from Interlight Central Asia, expanding its focus on lighting and design to include advanced technologies for Smart Building and Smart City concepts

“Exhibitions remain one of the most effective tools for fostering international cooperation. Expanding Eurasian partnerships and entering new markets are our core objectives – and Kazakhstan plays a key role in this process as a regional hub,” emphasized Eugen Alles, Member of the Board of Directors at BMCA.

Business Media Central Asia continues to build strong platforms for business interaction and knowledge exchange, contributing to economic growth and strengthening Kazakhstan’s position on the global exhibition map.
